Zhongke Yuandongli has introduced two new high-horsepower intelligent electric tractors: the Wantu 2004ET and Wantu 2604ET. These models are powered by axial flux motors, with the Wantu 2604ET featuring our KICS450 axial flux motor, which boasts a peak single motor power output of 450kW, capable of handling heavy-duty operations. This motor's volume power density has been significantly enhanced, and its axial length reduced by approximately 50%, offering greater flexibility in vehicle design and spatial arrangement.

Electronic Human-Machine Interaction and Manipulation: The driving and agricultural implement control systems are fully electronically controlled, eliminating traditional mechanical gear levers and cables in favor of an integrated multifunctional armrest, simplifying driving and operational tasks with touch controls.

In addition to electric tractors, axial flux motors are also utilized in agricultural machinery range extenders, such as the 8Y range extender co-developed by Shanghai Diesel Power and Panhu Power. Comprising an engine and an axial flux generator, this range extender boasts a high power generation efficiency of 4.35kWh/L.
The primary function of a range extender is to convert alternative forms of energy, like gasoline or natural gas, into electrical energy for agricultural machinery. This conversion typically involves generating power through the combustion of fuel in an internal combustion engine, which then drives a generator to produce electricity. The electrical energy produced by the range extender can either directly power the agricultural machinery's motor or be stored in a battery for later use, extending the operational time of the machinery when battery power is low.
In summary, the application of axial flux motors in agricultural machinery is expanding, offering new power solutions for agricultural mechanization and modernization with their high power density, efficiency, and compact design. As technology advances and costs decrease, the use of axial flux motors in agricultural machinery is expected to grow further.
