Unveiling Our Innovative EV Systems at Automechanika Shanghai 2024

This year, we're excited to bring you closer to our cutting-edge EV systems, demonstrating how they are shaping the future of commercial vehicle electrification. Join us as we unveil our latest technologies and explore their potential to transform the way we power our world.

At Automechanika Shanghai 2024, we're proud to present our advanced EV systems designed to empower the electrification of commercial vehicles. Here's an overview of our four featured products and their standout features.

1. Distributed Drive Electric Truck Axle

Our distributed drive e-axle for heavy commercial vehicles integrates dual motors, each peaking at 180 kW, for a combined output of 360 kW. This robust system is equipped with wheel-side reducers, essential for high-torque operations in heavy-duty applications. With a maximum torque exceeding 50,000 N.m, it delivers exceptional performance. Compared to traditional drives, our e-axle offers a more efficient, lighter design, weighing in at 950 kg—300 kg lighter than alternatives.

2. Independent Suspension Electric Bus Axle

Custom-developed for our partner CRRC, this e-axle is tailored for 8 to 10-meter buses and metro-style vehicles. It features two 90 kW motors, totaling 180 kW of power. Like our truck e-axle, it employs a distributed drive system for independent wheel control, ensuring smooth operation and safety redundancy. A standout feature is the 4-airbag independent suspension system, which enhances stability and reliability under all conditions.

3. Axial Flux Motors

Our axial flux motors are versatile, serving as drive motors or generators in range extender systems. The smaller model delivers 78 kW with over 95% efficiency and weighs only 23 kg, making it significantly more compact than radial flux motors. This design allows for installation in tight spaces, reducing energy losses and increasing efficiency. The larger model offers 160 kW at over 96% efficiency and weighs just 43 kg, suitable for e-axle systems in commercial vehicles up to 8.5 tons.

4. Electric Power Steering and 800V High-Voltage Onboard Chargers

Our integrated auxiliary inverter combines a DC/DC converter, two dc/ac inverters, and a pdu into a compact unit, ideal for space-constrained commercial vehicles.

Our electric power steering system for larger commercial vehicles provides a smoother ride, with torque output controlled by the steering ECU based on vehicle speed and driver input. This system is built for reliability, with an IP67 rating, and is ready for ADAS and autonomous driving applications.
